John Curtis McCarty, a resident of Jackson, MS, age 78, born on August 10, 1933 in Bogalusa,LA, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
He is survived by his son, John Wesley (Dorothy) McCarty; three grandchildren, Alexa McCarty, Cassie McCarty and Bryleigh McCarty; and a half brother, Marcus Prine.
There will be a Graveside Service at the American Legion Veteran's Cemetery in Ponemah Cemetery on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Bob Adams to officiate.
