Paula Spiers Brown, 65, was born on June 10, 1947, in Bogalusa, LA. She passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Lallie Kemp Hospital in Independence, LA, surrounded by family and loving friends.
Ms. Brown graduated from Bogalusa High School in 1965, attended Southeastern Louisiana College, then lived most of her adult life in Baton Rouge, LA. Paula's passions were her family, her sewing, and her puppy, Maggie.
She is survived by one son, Steve (Lynn) Brown; two grandchildren, Paige (P.J. King), and Jay Brown; a brother, Don (Georgia) Spiers; a sister, Patsy (George) Johnson; one great-grandson, Peyton; and a very special and adored niece, Donna Spiers Strain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Brown, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Spiers; and a half brother, Glynn Talley.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M.
